Another website that I am constantly using is http://www.wikipedia.org/. I know this is a very general site but it has some hidden potential many people might not know about. What I often do here is search a band that I really enjoy. I read about them and how they got together and started making music. More times than not, Wikipedia will post who the bands influences are, what albums they have released, what upcoming albums they are about to release, and the bands current status. A lot of times I will find myself waiting for a certain band to drop a new album and sometimes I will be waiting in vain, because they have since broken up. Like I said, Wikipedia is extremely useful for that reason. They will say whether or not they are broken up and state the status of the band members. If one of the band members has moved on it will state that. I love getting the back stories on the bands most of all. It help me appreciate them as individuals, not just as a band.
